BM Sea Lines Taşımacılık A.Ş. provides its customers with advantages, especially in the transportation of heavy, out of gauge or bulky goods, where land or rail transportation is expensive, by using river routes. Our company's Heavy Load and Project Department, with its professional team, has all the necessary experience and infrastructure to realize river transport projects.

Its use by Turkish transporters and exporters as part of combined transport to the interior of Europe using the Danube river routes will result in a significant reduction in export costs and competitiveness.

BM Sea Lines Taşımacılık A.Ş. also has Romania-Bulgaria-Ukraine and Russian flagged River Type Ships, for which it has the right to operate and lease, to the ports of northern European countries via the Danube, to the ports of the Black Sea, to the ports of the Caspian Sea via the Volga Don river, to the ports of the Caspian Sea, complete ship chartering and partial cargo provides transportation service.

Our company also carries out regular transportation between Marmara/Black Sea ports and Caspian Sea Ports (Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Dagestan, Kazakhstan, Iran - Bandar Anzali) during the months when the Volga river is open to navigation.

Our transportation activities on the Danube, Volga Don river, Caspian Sea provide a much more cost-effective advantage compared to other transportation models. In addition, it is the only alternative route for very heavy and “over sized cargo” transports that cannot be reached by land.
